The Value of Doing and the Value of Seeing Done: The Concept of Drawing of Rui Inácio

The essay included in the exhibition catalogue The Sea is Mute and Does Not Speak – O Mar é Mudo e Não Fala, focus in the art practice of Rui Inácio. I suggest that to “see something done”, in art terms, can provide enjoyable moments for the public that is moved by conceptual and material challenges artists face while working in their studio.
